I am Colleen Mathis.

Fair redistricting is important to me because…

“1) As Chair of the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission, it’s what Arizona voters intended when they passed Proposition 106 back in 2000–“to oversee the mapping of fair and competitive districts;” 2) as an independent, unaffiliated voter, I vote for individuals, not parties and want my representative to listen to everyone and work across boundaries to find solutions that benefit the greater good–not just appeal to her or his base; and 3) it levels the playing field for voters.”
