In this coffee hour , we\u2019re looking back at some of the work we did in the past year, and thinking about what lies ahead.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>Redistricting<\/b>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volunteers powered the effort to end gerrymandering, and along the way they built grassroots networks, distribution systems, and volunteer armies. That will stand us in good stead for future efforts.<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Please join us in Columbus on December 14, 2-4pm,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to celebrate the work of our Fair Districts volunteers! <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/events\/fair-districts-ohio-volunteer-appreciation-party\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RSVP HERE<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We helped thousands of Ohioans as they navigated registering, requesting a ballot, finding their voting location, and tracking their ballot. We trained almost 600 advocates across 29 counties who donated 1,900 hours toward our efforts! We will continue our work at the county level, joining boards of elections meetings across the state. Common Cause Ohio is trying to shine a light on money in judicial elections via its <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/judgetheads.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Judge the Ads<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> project. In particular, we are concerned with two massive voting and election bills, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legislature.ohio.gov\/legislation\/135\/sb324\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SB 324<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legislature.ohio.gov\/legislation\/135\/hb552\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sub HB 552<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/act.commoncause.org\/forms\/log-your-call-voting-and-elections-legislation-should-not-be-rushed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Please call your legislators<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to tell them voting and elections bills should not be rushed!
