Common Cause Ohio werkte samen met de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizensnotpoliticians.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Burgers, geen politici<\/a> campagne om gerrymandering in Ohio eens en voor altijd te verbieden. Het was een epische strijd met zijn wortels in eerdere pogingen tot hervorming van de herindeling van kiesdistricten, waarvan de eerste al in de jaren 80 begon. Maar vrijwilligersteams in de hele staat, georganiseerd door Common Cause Ohio en onze coalitiepartners, deden heldhaftig werk door handtekeningen te verzamelen, het publiek te onderwijzen en te vechten voor eerlijke kaarten en een sterkere democratie.
