Ce n&#039;est pas pour rien que seules trois lois ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9es en plus de 110 ans. Les R\u00e9publicains craignent que, si les Ohioans se soumettent au vote, le peuple vote comme les citoyens des autres \u00c9tats qui ont eu la possibilit\u00e9 d&#039;exprimer leur choix. Tout comme avec le d\u00e9coupage \u00e9lectoral, la seule fa\u00e7on pour les R\u00e9publicains d&#039;obtenir gain de cause est de priver le peuple de son droit de vote et de pr\u00e9tendre qu&#039;ils (les \u00e9lus r\u00e9publicains) sont en poste parce que le peuple veut \u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par eux et qu&#039;ils sont donc habilit\u00e9s \u00e0 voter pour eux.
