La Corte Suprema de Ohio ha anulado cuatro conjuntos de mapas.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>Primero: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aprobada el 16\/9\/2021; impugnada el 23\/9\/2021; derogada el 14\/1\/2022<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>Segundo: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aprobada el 22\/01\/2022; Impugnada el 25\/01\/2022; Derogada el 07\/02\/2022<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>Tercero: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aprobada el 24\/02\/2022; Impugnada el 28\/02\/2022; Derogada el 16\/03\/2022<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>Cuatro: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aprobada el 28\/3\/2022; impugnada el 1\/4\/2022; derogada el 14\/4\/2022<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>Quinto: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aprobado el 5\/5\/2022; Impugnado el 6\/5\/2022; En espera\u2026<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El cuarto conjunto de mapas fue <\/span><b>cerca de<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> id\u00e9ntico al tercer juego. El quinto juego es <\/span><b>exactamente<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> id\u00e9ntico al 3er conjunto. Problema de <\/span><b>asimetr\u00eda<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8567\" src=\"https:\/\/www.commoncause.org\/ohio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2022\/05\/22422-GA-Maps.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1604\" height=\"988\" \/>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La Comisi\u00f3n de Redistribuci\u00f3n de Distritos de Ohio desafi\u00f3 abiertamente la orden de la Corte Suprema de Ohio de dibujar un nuevo mapa antes del 6 de mayo.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Se neg\u00f3 a considerar el trabajo finalizado de los cart\u00f3grafos independientes.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Se vuelven a presentar mapas que ya fueron anulados por el tribunal.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Utiliz\u00f3 la excusa de que los BOE ya est\u00e1n programando los mapas 2\/24: estrategia exitosa para agotar el tiempo.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mientras tanto\u2026<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El panel federal estableci\u00f3 el 28 de mayo como fecha l\u00edmite para los nuevos mapas de Georgia, pero dijo que si el ORC falla, el tribunal adoptar\u00e1 los mapas del 24 de febrero (que es lo que quiere el ORC de todos modos).<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nuevas presentaciones por desacato de la OOC y la NDRC el 10 de mayo y la LWV el 11 de mayo<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Falta de claridad sobre cu\u00e1nto tiempo podr\u00edan permanecer vigentes los mapas.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8568\" src=\"https:\/\/www.commoncause.org\/ohio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2022\/05\/Sweeney.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1582\" height=\"1000\" \/>\r\n\r\n<b>Mapa del Congreso de Ohio en el que se plantean demandas judiciales<\/b>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Votamos usando el segundo mapa del Congreso en las primarias del 3 de mayo, a pesar de que todav\u00eda hay dos demandas en tr\u00e1mite y el mapa 3\/2 todav\u00eda puede ser declarado inconstitucional. Cada una es muy diferente:\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La ACLU de Ohio <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commoncause.org\/ohio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2022\/04\/LWV-Congress-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">present\u00f3 una demanda<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> el 22 de marzo en nombre de LWVO. Piden a la Corte que ordene a la Asamblea General, o Comisi\u00f3n, que arregle el mapa del 2 de marzo de 2022 a tiempo para las elecciones de 2024. La demanda identifica distritos que claramente est\u00e1n en violaci\u00f3n y pide a la Corte Suprema que ordene a los cart\u00f3grafos que arreglen estos distritos (CD 1 y 15).<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El Grupo Jur\u00eddico Elias present\u00f3 una <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commoncause.org\/ohio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2022\/04\/NRAF-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">demanda separada<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> el 21 de marzo, solicitando un alivio a tiempo para las elecciones de 2022. La demanda solicita al Tribunal que emita una orden judicial preliminar para las elecciones primarias y el mapa elegido ordenado por el tribunal. Una solicitud alternativa de alivio solicita al Tribunal que ordene a la Asamblea General o Comisi\u00f3n que dibuje un mapa de acuerdo con la orden del Tribunal del 14 de enero de 2022.
