Die direkte Demokratie gibt den W\u00e4hlern die M\u00f6glichkeit, wirklich Einfluss zu nehmen, und hat dazu beigetragen, die Ohioaner in den politischen Prozess einzubinden. Es gibt nach \u00fcber 100 Jahren keinen gerechtfertigten Grund, diesen ohnehin schon schwierigen Prozess noch schwieriger zu machen.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201eHeute hat ein Scheinausschuss die \u00f6ffentliche Anh\u00f6rung der Opposition unterbunden. So sollte Demokratie nicht aussehen. Extreme Gesetzgeber <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ohiohouse.gov\/committees\/constitutional-resolutions\/meetings\/cmte_h_constitutional_resolutions_1_2023-04-19-0900_356\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00fcber 100 Einwohner Ohios abgewiesen<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> die sich die Zeit nahmen, um zu erscheinen und ihre Oppositionsaussage zu machen. Der Ausschussvorsitzende Phil Plummer wollte offensichtlich nichts von den W\u00e4hlern h\u00f6ren. Er und eine hauchd\u00fcnne Mehrheit seiner wahlfeindlichen Kollegen hatten sich bereits entschieden und sie dr\u00e4ngten diese schlechte Idee aus dem Ausschuss.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201eWir haben eine wachsende Koalition aus 227 Organisationen, die Hunderttausende von W\u00e4hlern repr\u00e4sentieren und die das heilige Prinzip \u201eeine Person, eine Stimme\u201c nicht kompromittieren werden. In Ohio und diesem Land bedeutet eine einfache Mehrheit, dass 50 plus eins gleich Demokratie ist.
