“Crazy,” “terrible,” “disgusting” — that’s what voters like you are saying when they hear that losing NC Supreme Court candidate Jefferson Griffin wants to throw out their lawful ballots as he tries to overturn the election and steal a seat on our state’s highest court.

Multiple recounts and careful election audits confirmed that Justice Allison Riggs won the most votes to keep her seat on the NC Supreme Court. But rather than concede and respect the election results, Jefferson Griffin is demanding that the courts do the unthinkable: throw out the votes of 60,000 North Carolinians, with young people and Black voters challenged at higher rates.

“That’s ridiculous,” says Terri B. of Granville County, who is among the voters being challenged without any evidence. “Throwing out my ballot would mean what I say doesn’t matter.”
