Ang mga taga-New York sa 24 na primarya ng Konseho ng Lunsod ay nagkaroon ng pagkakataong iranggo ang kanilang mga kandidato ayon sa kagustuhan. 3 karera lang ang napunta sa mga round, at nasubaybayan ng publiko online gamit ang pinahusay na feature sa pag-uulat ng RCV.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nNoong Hunyo 2021, halos isang milyong taga-New York ang gumawa ng kasaysayan sa pamamagitan ng pagboto sa pinakamalaki at pinaka-diverse na Ranking Choice Voting (RCV) na halalan sa bansa. Tinanggap ng mga botante ang RCV na may 83% ng mga botante na nagraranggo ng hindi bababa sa dalawang kandidato sa kanilang mga balota sa primaryang mayor.\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mula nang aprubahan ng mga botante ang Ranking Choice Voting noong 2019, aktibong nakipagtulungan ang Common Cause New York sa Rank the Vote NYC para matiyak ang maayos na pagpapatupad nito.
