A set of legislative modernization measures passed through the House Government, Elections & Indian Affairs Committee this morning, and a commonsense bill to prohibit firearms at all polling locations advances through Senate Judiciary Committee, too.

Modernizing the legislative process with longer legislative sessions, salaries for currently unpaid legislators, and permanent district staff for individual legislators is the top priority for Common Cause during the upcoming session.
