The Election Modernization Coalition urges House members to restore Same Day Registration. When the bill was first filed, it included Same Day voter registration; and 84 Representatives, the majority of House members, signed on as cosponsors.

The bill that’s coming to the floor only got to the red zone, because a key provision – Same-Day Voter Registration – was dropped in Committee. To score a touchdown for the people of the Commonwealth, legislators need to support an amendment that puts same day registration back into the bill.
