They voted for a ballot initiative that gives eligible voters the right to register, update their registration, and vote on every Election Day in the future.\r\n\r\nMaryland already allows voters to register to vote and cast their vote during the early voting period, which this year was from October 25 through November 1, 2018. This ballot initiative extends that right to Election Day.\r\n\r\n\u201cWe are ecstatic that Maryland voters embraced more open, accessible elections.
