With the World Cup and Olympics approaching, the United States should be welcoming visitors, not treating them as suspects.
We urge you to drop the proposed rule that would force tourists to hand over DNA, facial scans, fingerprints, and years of social media history just to enter the United States. We’ve already seen how this kind of data is misused through unaccountable surveillance systems.
Please drop this rule before it becomes permanent and does lasting damage to our democracy, privacy, and tourism economy.
Common Cause has spent 2025 proving that special interests are no match for our people-powered movement that began over 50 years ago.
From the halls of Congress to local election offices, we’ve built a movement that stands up to corruption, strengthens accountability, and protects the power of the people. And with your help, we can go even further.
