Common Cause Statement on Attack Against Charlie Kirk
This afternoon, Charlie Kirk was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. The following is a statement from Common Cause President & CEO Virginia Kase Solomón:
“No one should ever face threats or violence because of their political beliefs. Common Cause unequivocally condemns today’s disgusting attack against Charlie Kirk. We must all condemn political violence in all its forms and stand for a democracy where differences are debated with respect, not fear.”
