Hoosiers Can Call 866-OUR-VOTE Hotline for Any Issues Exercising the Right to Vote

INDIANAPOLIS — Common Cause Indiana reminds Hoosiers to use the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline, 866-OUR-VOTE, if they have any questions or encounter any challenges with casting a ballot on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8 or during early voting. Voters can call or text the hotline to connect with volunteers standing by to help.

Indiana’s Voter Registration Deadline is TODAY, Oct. 11

INDIANAPOLIS — New voters have until today, Oct. 11, to submit their voter registration forms in-person, online or by mail in time for the Nov. 8 midterm election. In order for the mail-in application to be accepted, it must be postmarked today.

Tippecanoe County Election Administrator Violating Voter Registration Law; Voter Advocates File Complaint With Indiana Election Division

INDIANAPOLIS — Today, Common Cause Indiana and the League of Women Voters of Greater Lafayette (LWVGL) filed an administrative complaint with the co-directors of the Indiana Election Division (IED) to notify them of ongoing violations of voter registration laws by the Tippecanoe County Board of Elections and Registration. The complaint asks the co-directors to address these ongoing violations by requiring Tippecanoe County election officials to comply with the Indiana voter registration statute.
