Oktober 2025 von 18:30 bis 20:00 Uhr zu einer zweiten B\u00fcrgerversammlung ein, um \u00fcber ein Volk zu diskutieren<\/span>-<\/span>Erster Ansatz zur Festlegung der Wahlbezirke f\u00fcr den Stadtrat. Die Stadtr\u00e4tin von Valparaiso, Barbara Domer, bringt einen Gesetzentwurf zur Einrichtung einer unabh\u00e4ngigen Kommission zur Neugliederung der Wahlbezirke ein, die die Wahlkarten f\u00fcr den Stadtrat festlegen soll.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\nDie beiden Gruppen werden ein Gespr\u00e4ch \u00fcber den Vorschlag f\u00fchren, der darauf abzielt, den B\u00fcrgern die M\u00f6glichkeit zu geben, ihre Vertreter im Rathaus zu w\u00e4hlen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n\u201eDie Menschen in Valparaiso haben ein Recht darauf, geh\u00f6rt zu werden, wenn es um ihre lokalen Bezirke und die Gruppierung von Nachbarschaften und Gemeinden geht. Wir geben ihnen die M\u00f6glichkeit, geh\u00f6rt zu werden, mehr \u00fcber den Vorschlag zu erfahren und dar\u00fcber, wie er Valparaiso unserer Meinung nach in Zukunft helfen wird\u201c, sagte <\/span>Julia Vaughn, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrerin von Common Cause Indiana.<\/span><\/b>\r\n\r\n\u201eMeine Entscheidung, f\u00fcr den Stadtrat zu kandidieren, wurde unter anderem durch meine Beteiligung an der Neugliederung der Wahlbezirke im Jahr 2022 motiviert. Ich bin fest davon \u00fcberzeugt, dass dieser Prozess von den W\u00e4hlern und nicht von den Politikern geleitet werden kann und sollte. Es ist an der Zeit, dass Valparaiso die Wahlkreisplanung aus den H\u00e4nden der Politiker in die H\u00e4nde der Bev\u00f6lkerung legt!
