In the wake of last year’s SB 202, Georgia’s Legislature is considering another “omnibus” bill that could substantially change the state’s elections procedures.

Tuesday, without much public notice, the Redistricting & Elections Subcommittee of the House Committee on Governmental Affairs held a hearing on elections-related legislation.

We hope that, during today’s press conference, the media will ask Governor Kemp and Attorney General Carr some pointed questions.

Last-minute legislation would completely reconfigure Board of Commissioners and Board of Education for one of the country’s most-diverse counties.

Fair Fight Action alongside Common Cause Georgia and other groups sent a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in response to his reckless and dangerous rhetoric casting doubt on Fulton County’s elections administration and calling on him to “reject any partisan attempt to take over Fulton County elections through Senate Bill 202 or through any other means.”
