Partnership for Purpose 5k Walk/Run
Common Cause Georgia is proud to support Partnership for Purpose 5k Walk/Run in Camilla, Georgia. This is a community-led event hosted by the Marquavies Bernard Broughton Foundation in partnership with Hope Dealer Outreach that brings people together to honor lives lost and raise awareness around substance use prevention. This work is deeply connected to our Civil Rights & Civil Liberties priority: every community deserves to be safe, informed, and supported, and too often, marginalized communities are disproportionately impacted by public health crises like fentanyl and nitazene poisoning. By uplifting grassroots leadership and supporting a participant from our Leadership Program on the ground, we are helping ensure that directly impacted communities have the voice, visibility, and power to advocate for the resources, protections, and policy solutions they need to thrive.
