George Santos (R-NY), who lied blatantly to voters about his biography in order to win office and is currently facing international, federal, and state investigations. Polling shows that <a href=\"https:\/\/scri.siena.edu\/2023\/01\/31\/ny-3-voters-say-santos-should-resign-78-13-including-71-of-reps\/\">78% des \u00e9lecteurs<\/a> in Santos\u2019 district want Santos to resign, yet Speaker McCarthy continues to ignore the public outrage.\r\n\r\nAmericans expect and deserve accountability from their elected representatives in Washington, and the House Ethics Committee has repeatedly proven itself not up to the task.
