That means pushing back on corruption, bad behavior from corporations, and illegal activity from elected officials.<\/span>\r\n\r\nPam Bondi is not fulfilling that role, and her record speaks for itself.<\/span>\r\n\r\nHere are\u00a0four\u00a0things\u00a0to know about her\u00a0history of putting herself and her interests above the common good.<\/span>\r\n\r\nPolitics Over People<\/span><\/b>\r\n\r\nWhen preparing to launch her reelection campaign for Florida Attorney General in 2013, Bondi asked then Governor Rick Scott, to <\/span>delay a death row execution<\/span><\/a> because it interfered with a kickoff fundraising event for herself.<\/span>\r\n\r\nTypically, the state attorney general is available during executions in the event of last minute legal changes.<\/span>\r\n\r\nHard to forget a headline like\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\"<\/span>Attorney general vows to never again delay an execution for a fundraiser.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/a>\r\n\r\nThis goes to show where her priorities lie, not with the people, not with her own job, but with her donors.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThe Donald J Trump Foundation Donation<\/span><\/b>\r\n\r\nIn 2013, Pam Bondi personally asked for a <\/span>$25,000 donation from Donald Trump\u2019s Foundation charity<\/span><\/a> to a PAC supporting her re-election for Florida Attorney General. Trump later had to pay a $2,500 fee because the donation violated charities supporting partisan political activities.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThis illegal political contribution came days after Bondi\u2019s office was hearing fraud allegations from Floridians involving Trump University and was deciding whether to join <\/span>New York\u2019s\u00a0class action\u00a0lawsuit<\/span><\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a0university for fraud.<\/span>\r\n\r\nAfter the donation\u00a0from Trump,\u00a0Bondi\u2019s office\u00a0decided not\u00a0to\u00a0pursue\u00a0a formal investigation.<\/span>\r\n\r\nOnce again, Bondi prioritized her political ambition over bringing justice to her constituents.<\/span>\r\n\r\nQatar Ties<\/span><\/b>\r\n\r\nIn\u00a02019,\u00a0Bondi became\u00a0a\u00a0lobbyist for\u00a0Ballard\u00a0Partners,\u00a0a firm\u00a0with\u00a0deep connections\u00a0to President\u00a0Trump.\u00a0<\/span>Bondi\u2019s\u00a0client list included the Qatari\u00a0government<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\r\n\r\nIn 2025,\u00a0President Trump was gifted a\u00a0<\/span>$400 million dollar luxury jet from Qatar<\/span><\/a>. The gift raised concerns of conflict of interest given Bondi\u2019s past relationship representing the Qatari government\u2019s interest in her last role. Even more concerning, as U.S. Attorney General, Bondi approved the gift under the condition it be transferred to the Trump Library Foundation.<\/span>\r\n\r\nElection Denial 101<\/span><\/b>\r\n\r\nBondi was one of the\u00a0<\/span>loudest voices spreading President Trump\u2019s lies about the 2020 election<\/span><\/a>. The 2020 election results were thoroughly investigated and found to be free and fair dozens of times in the court of law\u2014in fact, it was the case in <\/span>62 lawsuits Trump filed.<\/span><\/a> Bondi has not retracted her stance on this issue.<\/span>\r\n\r\nHer willingness to spread lies likely helped her remain a staunch ally to President Trump and could certainly have been a consideration in picking her to serve in his presidential cabinet.<\/span>\r\n\r\nAs U.S. attorney general, Pam Bondi should be working for the American people<\/span>,<\/span> not President Trump.
