Last weekend in Minneapolis another citizen, Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse, was shot and killed by ICE. This comes after the killing of Renee Good at the hands of ICE earlier this month. And follows after months of ICE and federal officers attacking our communities and the deadliest year in two decades at detention centers.

What we have all seen with our own eyes is ICE bringing violence into our communities and attacking our loved ones for speaking out against an authoritarian government.

This cannot continue.

People of different races, religions, and party affiliations are united in demanding the immediate firing of Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Sign our petition à tell Congress and President Trump to hold Noem accountable for the ICE abuses she is allowing and encouraging.

Common Cause is also demanding an immediate end to ICE operations across the country, full federal cooperation with the local law enforcement investigating the killings,  and a Congressional investigation into ICE and the Department of Homeland Security’s use of force. There must be transparency and accountability.

Urge your lawmakers to vote NO on funding for the Department of Homeland Security. Join Common Cause in demanding Not One Penny more until ICE is out of our cities and Noem is gone.
