This process must serve the people, not politicians or political parties. The President of the United States has called for redrawing congressional districts nationwide to benefit his party in the next election. But let's be perfectly clear: <strong>drawing voting maps for partisan gain is explicitly illegal in Florida<\/strong>. The people of Florida made it illegal when we passed the Fair Districts Amendment to the Florida Constitution.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b>Article III, Section 20 of the Florida Constitution lays out the rules for drawing congressional district boundaries in our state.
