Register to vote in Florida:<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>If you have a Florida driver license or State of Florida ID card, you can register online at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/registertovoteflorida.gov\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov<\/a><\/li>\r\n \t<li>If you do not have a Florida ID,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commoncause.org\/florida\/resources\/how-floridians-can-help-each-other-register-to-vote\/\">check out our guide<\/a>\u00a0for detailed information and resources about how to register to vote in Florida.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>2. Request a vote-by-mail ballot from your county Supervisor of Elections office:<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Request your vote-by-mail ballot\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commoncause.org\/florida\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/06\/SOE-Contacts.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">by phone<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/allvoting.org\/FLVoteByMail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/files.floridados.gov\/media\/707825\/ds-de-160-statewide-vote-by-mail-request-adoption.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in writing<\/a>, or in person. You will need to provide your name, home address, date of birth, and Florida driver license\/ID card number or the last four digits of your Social Security number.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>ANY registered Florida voter can vote by mail. No excuse is needed.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>If you encounter a problem requesting your vote-by-mail ballot online, <a href=\"https:\/\/dos.elections.myflorida.com\/supervisors\/supervisor_elections.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">call your county Supervisor of Elections office<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>If you need your ballot sent to a temporary address or an address that the Supervisor of Elections does not already have on file for you, you must submit a signed written request using the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/files.floridados.gov\/media\/707825\/ds-de-160-statewide-vote-by-mail-request-adoption.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Statewide Vote-by-Mail Ballot Request Form<\/a>. Complete the top section of the form and indicate where you would like your ballot to be mailed, then sign the form and submit it to your county Supervisor of Elections via mail or email.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Request your vote-by-mail ballot at least 12 days before Election Day. If you miss this deadline, you will have to go pick up your ballot from the county elections office and an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flrules.org\/gateway\/readRefFile.asp?refId=16595&amp;filename=DS-DE%20162%20%20Vote%20By%20Mail%20Delivery%20Affidavit%20Form.doc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emergency excuse affidavit<\/a>\u00a0may be required.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Voters who need help requesting their vote-by mail ballot can designate a member of their immediate family or their legal guardian to request it on their behalf. To request a vote-by-mail ballot for someone who directly instructed you to do so, complete both sections of this<a href=\"https:\/\/files.floridados.gov\/media\/707825\/ds-de-160-statewide-vote-by-mail-request-adoption.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0request form<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Voters with disabilities can also request\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessthevote.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Remote-Accessible-Vote-by-Mail.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accessible vote by mail<\/a>\u00a0to receive a mail ballot that they can fill out with their preferred assistive technology.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>3. Vote your mail ballot:<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Your ballot will arrive in the mail a few weeks before Election Day.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Read the materials that come with your ballot and follow all instructions.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Remember to sign the back of the mail ballot return envelope.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Include your phone number and\/or email on the envelope so that the Supervisor of Elections can contact you easily if there is a problem.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>4. Return your vote-by-mail ballot by 7:00pm on Election Day:<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>If you mail it, do so at least 10 days before Election Day so that it gets there in time. A postmark date is not enough.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>You can choose to drop your ballot off at any Supervisor of Elections office in your county, at any Early Voting location in your county during voting hours, or in an official secure ballot intake station (<a href=\"https:\/\/dos.elections.myflorida.com\/supervisors\/supervisor_elections.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">call or check the Supervisor of Elections website for locations<\/a>).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>You can ask someone else to drop your ballot off for you. However, voters can only drop off ballots for immediate family members and up to 2 additional people per election.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>You cannot drop off your mail ballot at your regular polling location on Election Day, but you can exchange it and vote in person instead.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>5.
