If they don\u2019t respond to that notice in 30 days, they\u2019ll be kicked off the voting rolls. These voters won\u2019t be able to vote until they submit specific, costly documents. And if they can\u2019t afford these documents or it\u2019s impossible to get them, they won\u2019t be able to vote.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n\u201cThese bills are a modern day poll tax that will block tens of thousands of U.S. citizens from voting, especially students, seniors and people with disabilities,\u201d <\/span>Common Cause Florida Executive Director Amy Keith said.\u00a0<\/b>\r\n\r\nThese bills are the latest example of the Florida legislature attempting to pick and choose who can vote.
