Our hearts are with those who lost loved ones in yesterday’s tragic shooting on the Florida State University campus. And we stand in solidarity with all students at FSU and across the country who have been forced to endure the fear and trauma of gun violence.

American doesn’t have to be this way.

Our elected officials can choose to defy special interests and pass laws that limit access to guns. Our elected officials can choose to make our schools and public spaces safer.

We must continue to hold them accountable for doing so.
