Calling for the annihilation of Iran \u2013 an entire civilization of 90 million human beings just like you or me \u2013 isn't normal. Trying to turn this country into a dictatorship \u2013 where one man rules by his word alone, where government becomes a weapon against its own people, and free and fair elections are just another inconvenience \u2013 is not normal.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Losing track of basic facts and being unable to speak coherently on a single topic for more than a few sentences is not normal. At this point, it's undeniable: Donald Trump is unfit to serve as President of the United States. That's not a matter of speculation, it's a matter of public record \u2013 his incoherent statements and erratic behavior put our country at risk every day they're allowed to continue.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Trump has hand-picked his Cabinet for loyalty to him, not competence, qualifications, or desire to serve the public. And Republicans in Congress have spent Trump's second term dodging their responsibility as an equal branch of government to rein him in.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
President Trump is being reckless with our lives and the lives of millions around the world \u2013 and the consequences of his behavior will be catastrophic for generations.<\/p>\r\n
He's abusing power at every turn \u2013 weaponizing the government against his perceived political enemies, using our government for personal profit, and openly undermining our elections. This is about our futures, our kids, and even our grandkids. If we don't want to be the last generation to have anything resembling democracy, then this is our moment to act.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
We're done treating this like it's anything less than an emergency. And we're done with any \"leaders\" who try to tell us anything different. Those in power need to go on the record to answer one simple question: are they okay with what Trump's doing, or will they do everything they can to stop him?<\/p>\r\n
History \u2013 and We The People \u2013 will remember this moment. Failure to act won't be seen as caution or restraint.
