Common Cause members sent thousands of letters and made calls demanding Congress reject it. And while we forced some changes \u2014 like the removal of a dangerous 10-year ban on AI regulation and other special interest giveaways \u2014 the damage is real.<\/span>\r\n<h2><b>This Bill Doesn\u2019t Balance the Budget \u2014 It Reshapes America for the Ultra-Wealthy<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This bill won\u2019t balance the budget \u2014 because that was never the goal.
