Elon Musk is trying to run our government like it\u2019s one of his companies. It\u2019s hurting the American people, and Trump is letting him do it. It\u2019s time to FIRE Elon Musk.<\/strong> \r\n<\/p>\r\n

President Trump has given Musk an official White House email address, office space, and access to the inner workings of our government through his made-up \u201cDOGE\u201d. [1] \r\n<\/p>\r\n

Musk\u2019s fingerprints are all over some of Trump\u2019s most destructive actions so far<\/strong>, such as pressuring massive numbers of federal employees into quitting.
\r\n<\/p>\r\n

These aren\u2019t typical administrative tweaks made by a new president, but a full-scale attempted takeover\u2013 led by an unaccountable, unelected billionaire \u2013 who appears to want to claim total authority over public spending, shred our safety net, and fundamentally reshape our way of life. \r\n<\/p>\r\n

It doesn\u2019t take a genius to see what\u2019s going on here: it seems like Musk and Trump want to replace qualified civil servants with political cronies whose only loyalty is to them<\/strong> \u2013 then slash billions of dollars from public services in order to line the pockets of their fellow billionaires. \r\n<\/p>\r\n

Meanwhile, Musk's actions continue to raise red flags, making a now-infamous salute during Trump\u2019s rally that white nationalists are celebrating as a call to action. [2] And reports indicate Musk had a major role in the decision to pardon violent January 6th insurrectionists and try to rewrite the history of that horrific day. [3]\r\n<\/p>\r\n

But despite (or perhaps because of) these massive red flags, Trump is handing him unprecedented access to the highest levels of government<\/strong> \u2013 without having to be confirmed by the Senate or follow the ethical standards that all other federal employees must abide by. \r\n<\/p>\r\n

Luckily, our government doesn\u2019t work like one of Musk\u2019s companies<\/strong> \u2013 we aren\u2019t ruled by kings OR CEOs.  \r\n<\/p>\r\n

Elon Musk is a billionaire who nobody voted for, with zero accountability to the American people. Our democracy deserves better. <\/strong>Musk\u2019s dangerous influence must end now.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
