Maryland<\/h3>\r\nUnser Common-Cause-Team setzt sich f\u00fcr den Maryland Voting Rights Act ein. Dieser ist ein wichtiger Schritt zum Schutz farbiger W\u00e4hler und st\u00e4rkt die Gemeinschaften, diskriminierende lokale Gesetze anzufechten. Der Gesetzentwurf erweitert zudem den Sprachzugang und stellt sicher, dass alle Wahlberechtigten, auch diejenigen, deren Muttersprache nicht Englisch ist, selbstbewusst ihre Stimme abgeben k\u00f6nnen.\r\n

Massachusetts<\/h3>\r\nUnser Team setzt sich f\u00fcr eine W\u00e4hlerregistrierung am selben Tag ein. So k\u00f6nnten sich die Menschen am selben Tag registrieren und w\u00e4hlen, sodass niemand die Gelegenheit verpasst, seine Stimme zu erheben.\r\n

Indiana<\/h3>\r\nCommon Cause errang in Anderson einen wichtigen Sieg f\u00fcr eine gerechte Vertretung. Nachdem wir Klage gegen veraltete, seit den 1980er Jahren nicht mehr aktualisierte Stadtratsbezirke eingereicht hatten, genehmigte die Stadt einen neuen Plan, der den verfassungsm\u00e4\u00dfigen Anforderungen entspricht.\r\n

Colorado<\/h3>\r\nUnser Team bei Colorado Common Cause setzt sich f\u00fcr einen Gesetzentwurf zum Wahlrechtsgesetz ein, der unfaire lokale Wahlpraktiken verbietet, den Zugang zu mehrsprachigen Stimmzetteln erweitert und LGBTQ-W\u00e4hler sch\u00fctzt.\r\n

Arizona<\/h3>\r\nCommon Cause Arizona setzt sich daf\u00fcr ein, einen Gesetzentwurf zu stoppen, der die Abgabe von Stimmzetteln am Wahltag verbietet. Senioren, berufst\u00e4tigen Familien, Stammesgemeinschaften und allen, die am Wahltag nicht in langen Schlangen stehen k\u00f6nnen, w\u00fcrde dadurch eine wichtige M\u00f6glichkeit genommen, ihre Stimme abzugeben.\r\n

Virginia<\/h3>\r\nAls Teil der Virginia Right to Vote Coalition arbeitet Common Cause an der Verabschiedung einer Verfassungs\u00e4nderung, um das Wahlrecht f\u00fcr Menschen, die ihre Strafe verb\u00fc\u00dft haben, wiederherzustellen und Menschen mit Behinderungen zu sch\u00fctzen. Diese \u00c4nderung wurde vom Senat angenommen und geht nun an das Repr\u00e4sentantenhaus.\r\n

North Carolina<\/h3>\r\nCommon Cause North Carolina deckt ein gef\u00e4hrliches Komplott auf, bei dem 60.000 rechtm\u00e4\u00dfige Stimmen f\u00fcr ung\u00fcltig erkl\u00e4rt und eine Wahl annulliert werden sollen. Richterin Allison Riggs gewann ihre Wahl zum Obersten Gerichtshof von North Carolina, doch ihr Gegner versucht, Stimmen \u2013 viele davon von jungen und schwarzen W\u00e4hlern \u2013 zu disqualifizieren, um den Sitz zu erringen.
