Es schadet nie, sich daran zu erinnern, wie das tats\u00e4chlich passiert.<\/p><p>Entsprechend <a href=\"http:\/\/sunlightfoundation.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/24\/1pct_of_the_1pct\/\">ein aktueller Bericht der Sunlight Foundation<\/a>Im Jahr 2012 spendeten rund 25 Millionen Amerikaner oder 11TP3B der US-Bev\u00f6lkerung f\u00fcr den Wahlkampf, wodurch die rekordverd\u00e4chtige Summe von 6 Milliarden Dollar zusammenkam. Von diesen 25 Millionen Menschen spendeten lediglich 11TP3B, also etwas \u00fcber 31.000 Menschen, fast ein Drittel der gesamten Spenden, insgesamt 1,7 Milliarden Dollar. Und was noch wichtiger ist: Jeder siegreiche Kandidat f\u00fcr das US-Repr\u00e4sentantenhaus oder den Senat erhielt Spenden von dieser Elite in H\u00f6he von 0,011TP3B. Obwohl kleinere Spender den siegreichen Kandidaten Geld gaben, waren ihre Spenden erheblich geringer als die Gesamtsumme, die jeder Kandidat von der wohlhabenden Elite von 0,011TP3B (ungef\u00e4hr 31.000 Menschen) erhielt. Teilweise aufgrund der rekordverd\u00e4chtigen Summen, die bei der Wahl 2012 gesammelt wurden, sp\u00fcren die Kandidaten einen zunehmenden Druck, mehr Geld aufzutreiben, um zu gewinnen. Dies f\u00fchrt uns zu einer offensichtlichen Frage: K\u00f6nnten die Kandidaten den Interessen ihrer gr\u00f6\u00dften Spender oder dieser Elite von 0,011 TP3T den Vorrang geben, um sich die n\u00f6tige finanzielle Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chste Wahl zu sichern?<\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/common.wp.commonblog.org\/files\/2013\/07\/one-percent-435cs060512-13389215751.gif\"><img alt=\"\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-14237\" height=\"236\" src=\"http:\/\/common.wp.commonblog.org\/files\/2013\/07\/one-percent-435cs060512-13389215751.gif\" title=\"ein-Prozent-435cs060512-1338921575\" width=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p><p>How does that influence bear out? It would mean the interests of Americans in top corporate jobs have more influence on the legislative agenda. Out of this group of 31,000 elite, their professions include the following: retirees, presidents, attorneys, CEO's, homemakers, chairmen, executives, investors, and owners of businesses. Corporate America has an unequal piece of the influence pie.<\/p><p>Let's focus on Colorado. Based on the same report by the Sunlight Foundation, within our population of about 5 million, <a href=\"http:\/\/sunlightfoundation.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/24\/1pct_of_the_1pct_by_state\/\">633 Personen waren Teil dieser Elite 0.01%<\/a> die einen gr\u00f6\u00dferen Einfluss auf die Bundeswahlen 2012 hatten. Von diesen 633 Personen lebt die Mehrheit in Orten wie Aspen, Boulder, den wohlhabendsten Vierteln Denvers und Greenwood Village. Mit ihrem starken Einfluss auf unsere Wahlen kann man durchaus behaupten, dass diese wohlhabenden Eliten darauf hinarbeiten, ihre privilegierten Interessen im Kongress zu wahren.<\/p><p><a
