This is a serious allegation, especially given how close the final results of this race were, but candidates regularly take issue with the conduct of their opponents and their campaigns. Fortunately, the State Elections Enforcement Commission and the Bridgeport Police Department are<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">already investigating the charges.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhile this is concerning<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and has been an issue previously in Bridgeport, we must not extend this distrust to our absentee ballot system as a whole.
