Nearly 80% of Connecticut voters support early voting

Absentee ballots are safe, cost effective, efficient and secure. 73% of Connecticut voters support giving all voters the option to vote by absentee ballot without needing an excuse.

The time is now for all members of the Government Administration and Elections (GAE) Committee of the state legislature to support these 2021 voting rights expansions

Eligible citizens are automatically and electronically registered to vote unless they opt out when interacting with state agencies and programs such as the Dept. of Motor Vehicles, the Dept. of Social Services, HUSKY, Access Health CT, state colleges & universities and others
