REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT

Connecticut law allows you to receive an absentee ballot if you cannot appear at your assigned polling place on election day for specific reasons--one of them being sickness. "Sickness" is now determined by the voter on an ongoing basis and can include, for example, fear of contracting covid-19.

For general elections only (NOT primary elections) Election Day Registration is available at a designated EDR location in your town/city, beginning at 6 am and ending at 8 pm. You will register and vote at the designated EDR location in your town.
