2022 Nonpartisan Election Protection Volunteer Polling Place Monitors

For both the August 9th Primary and November 8th General elections in Connecticut, nonpartisan volunteers assisted voters and monitored voting conditions outside polling places with our state’s highest numbers of total voters and also of Black, Indigenous and other people of color voters.

Rodolfo Ramirez, pictured here, served as an Election Protection polling place monitor outside the Environmental Sciences Magnet site in Hartford on November 8, 2022.

Obstacles to voting Carlos and the other single-site or roving monitors found for the primary and general elections disproportionately impact BIPOC voters.
