A federal judge apparently is on the verge of lifting a decades-old order that blocked the Republican National Committee from a variety of “poll watching” activities that worked to intimidate legally-qualified voters.

There’s more trouble this week – self-inflicted – for President Trump’s fraudulent “voter fraud” commission.

A coalition of voting rights groups is accusing Arizona state agencies today of repeatedly violating federal voting laws designed to increase opportunities to register and vote and is demanding that the state’s top voting official fix the problems.

An overwhelming majority of Americans are profoundly troubled about the condition of our democracy, even as their faith in democratic ideals remains strong, according to a recent Washington Post – University of Maryland poll.

It looks this morning like at least one member of President Trump’s “election integrity” commission has come to the realization that the whole thing is a sham.

As if further proof was needed, the lawsuit filed today by Maine Secretary of State Matt Dunlap removes a shred of legitimacy the Pence-Kobach Commission has tried to cling to since its creation.
