This is President Obama's last chance to take action against secret money in politics.

In the six years since Citizens United invited unlimited secret spending into our democracy, the President has rightly criticized the big money politics that decision ushered in -- but he hasn't done nearly enough to solve the problem.

But there's good news: President Obama has the power to expose secret money in our politics right now. All he needs to do is issue an executive order requiring federal contractors to disclose their political spending.

President Obama doesn't want to be remembered as the president who sat and watched while special interests took over our democracy -- but that's exactly what'll happen if he spends his last year in office without getting anything done.

Instead, he should cement his legacy as a reformer with an executive order requiring full disclosure from all federal contractors. That'd expose secret spending by up to 70 of the Fortune 100 companies, including Exxon-Mobil, Bank of America, and Boeing.

But time's running out -- with corporations are already spending millions on next year's election, it'll only get harder to implement an executive order for transparency and stop federal contractors from flooding our elections with secret money.

It's clear that if President Obama makes the right choice here, the public will have his back.

A recent poll found that a huge majority of Americans -- both Democrats and Republicans -- want the President to issue an executive order for disclosure.

And just earlier this year we delivered 850,000 petition signatures to the President, while over 1,000 activists across the nation called the White House to demand action.

But instead of listening to the thousands who've spoken out and closing the loophole that lets federal contractors spend millions in secret, President Obama is biding his time.

Call on President Obama to make the right choice today!
