Last year, multi-billion dollar telecom firm Charter Communications asked the Federal Communications for permission to buy Time Warner Cable.

Since then, we've been sounding the alarm that this merger would drive up prices and limit consumer choices. But even still, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler said today that he'd let the deal go forward -- under a few conditions.

But there aren't any conditions that could make this monopolistic merger a good deal for consumers. We must speak out quickly to prevent Big Cable from growing even bigger.

Media mergers like this one might be good for corporate bottom lines, but they're terrible for broadband consumers. We have too few choices as it is -- and the solution isn't to give us even fewer.

We've seen this play out before: Comcast tried to buy Time Warner Cable in 2014. Nearly one million Americans spoke out against this merger -- and we stopped it!

Already, more than 300,000 Americans have urged the FCC to say no to the Charter-Time Warner Cable merger. If Chairman Wheeler hears directly from us in these crucial next few days, we can stop this merger as well.

Sign our petition to FCC Chairman Wheeler today!
