Protect the vote in PA
Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Mike Turzai slipped up and told the truth: The real reason he and his Republican colleagues worked so hard to pass a tough voter ID law this year was to give his party an edge in the upcoming elections.
The new law will suppress turnout among students, the elderly, and minority voters - those least likely to a valid photo ID required by the new law.
It doesn't have to be that way. We have the power to fight back.
Please help us to beat back this threat. Join a special group of Common Cause election protection volunteers in your community and defend voters' rights as a poll monitor on Election Day.
