NC students go to Congress to speak up for HBCUs

Students from NC A&T, NC Central and Shaw universities visited Congress this month to share their stories and to express the vital importance of historically black colleges and universities in North Carolina. The visit was part of the Democracy Fellows program with Common Cause North Carolina, which includes students from seven HBCU campuses around the state.
