For Immediate Release CCNC statement on firebombing of GOP office in Orange County

RALEIGH – The following is a statement from Bob Phillips, executive director of Common Cause North Carolina, in response to the destruction of the headquarters of the Orange County Republican Party:

"Violence has absolutely no place in our politics. We are grateful that no one was injured in this outrageous act. Citizens and political parties should always feel free to express their beliefs and viewpoints without fear of threats or physical attacks."
