Mark is an assistant professor of political science in North Carolina State University’s School of Public and International Affairs. His teaching focuses largely on International Political Economy, International Organizations, and European Politics. His research focuses largely on the politics of illicit international markets, including money laundering, maritime piracy, and nuclear trafficking. Originally from western Kentucky, Mark moved to Raleigh from Wisconsin in 2008 and rejoiced in the warmer clime. He received his Ph.D. in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
