SF 17 passed the Senate on a bi-partisan vote in 2013 and the House equivelent, HF 276, made it all the way to the House floor.  This year we will pass HF 276 and become the 17th state to ask Congress for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United! ere a direct influence on the Governor's veto of seven ALEC bills.  Common Cause Minnesota has been fighting in St. Paul the recent Supreme Court decisions of Citizens United and McCutcheon and continues its work to modernize Minnesota's campaign disclosure laws in light of these cases.
