Join Common Cause Massachusetts as we celebrate nearly five decades of working towards a more open, honest, and accountable government.
We will be honoring Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Maura Healey, who is widely regarded as one of the top Attorneys General in the country for her work advancing civil rights, voting rights, and accountable government. Also in attendance will be Governors Patrick, Weld, Swift and Dukakis, Congressman Lynch, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, and many of the and many leading legislators, lawyers, and business executives in the Greater Boston area.
The event will take place at one of our city’s most venerable institutions, the Boston Public Library, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 14th. It will be a festive evening with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and as well as the opportunity to see old friends and make new ones.
Chairing the night's Honorary Committee is R. Robert Popeo, Esq. of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. while James R. Carroll, Esq. of Skadden, Arps, Meagher, Slate, & Flom LLP will serve as Chair of the Event Committee.
Come celebrate 48 years of building a better democracy in Massachusetts with an evening that is not to be missed.
