Voter ID Laws

No one should be denied the vote because they lack a photo ID. Yet in 12 states, voters have to show a photo ID at the polls. Voter ID laws disenfranchise anyone that does not have the time or money to obtain an ID. Of course, this burden primarily falls on women, people of color, and the working poor.

We can not stand by and let our fundamental right to vote be taken away over a costly piece of plastic. Join us today in either overturning these unconstitutional laws or in implementing a practical solution that gives IDS to every voter -- easily, quickly, and cheaply.
