Mark Yes to Support HECF

Project completed

Polls show that citizens are increasingly concerned about “Big Money” in politics, yet many taxpayers do not know that the Hawaii Election Campaign Fund was created to help address this serious issue.

Join us and pledge to mark "Yes" for the Hawaii Election Campaign Fund.

If you have a state tax liability of at least $3, you have the option of marking “Yes” or “No” on your income tax return for $3 (or $6 if married and filing a joint return) to go to the Hawaii Election Campaign Fund.

Tax Form

The Hawaii Election Campaign Fund supports:

  • the Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission, a watchdog agency that works to ensure that campaign donations and expenditures are made public and comply with campaign finance laws to prevent corruption in politics

Take action now and pledge to mark "Yes" for the Hawaii Election Campaign Fund.

By marking “Yes” for the Hawaii Election Campaign Fund $3 (or $6) will go from the state general fund to the Hawaii Election Campaign Fund.

Marking “Yes” will not increase your tax or reduce your refund.
