Below are projects and campaigns that have been completed and are under the issue of "Money In Politics":

checkmark thumbnailThe annual "Mark Yes" campaign encourages Hawaii taxpayers to support Hawaii's Small Donor Matching Elections Program and Campaign Spending Commission by marking "yes" on their state tax return for $3 to be allocated from the general fund to the Hawaii Election Campaign Fund. Marking "yes" doesn't increase one's liability or reduce one's refund.

Civic*CeleratorCivic*Celerator was a project aimed at developing user friendly apps leveraging open data made available by the Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission. People Pledge Logo

The People's Pledge commits participating candidates to make charitable contributions to offset the impact of money spent on their behalf by "independent" super PACs and political non-profit groups.  Click here to learn what happened to Common Cause Hawaii's attempts to negotiate a People's Pledge in Hawaii. 

Red FlagThe "Flag That Ad!" campaign asked members of the public track Super PAC spending in Hawaii by reporting "independent" campaign ads placed by outside groups -- regardless of party affiliation or philosophy.  Click here to see the list of reported ads.
