Campus Organizing

In 2016, Common Cause Georgia will launch the CCGA Democracy Fellows program at Morehouse College, the goal of which is to strengthen our state’s democracy by activating, training, supporting and connecting the next generation of civic leaders at local colleges and universities.  Fellows will serve as advocates and ambassadors for Common Cause Georgia on their respective campuses, all while gaining the valuable skills they need to join in the fight of holding power accountable at every level.

Through a competitive application process, a class of fellows will be selected annually to participate in a year-long experiential learning program that educates students regarding Common Cause Georgia’s key issues, introduces students to the electoral process, and provides a greater understanding of the importance and significance of civic engagement at the local, state and national levels.
