About Us

Common Cause Delaware (CCDE) is a state chapter of Common Cause, a nonpartisan grassroots organization dedicated to upholding the core values of American democracy. We work to create open, honest, and accountable government that serves the public interest; promote equal rights, opportunity, and representation for all; and empower all people to make their voices heard in the political process. Since its founding in 1972, CCDE has been one of the state’s most effective watchdog groups. We continue to play a leading role in the passage of major reforms at the state and local levels and also work with our U.S. Senators and Congressperson for change at the national level.
