Representing Common Cause at Denver's Tax Day March

Colorado Common Cause was honored to participate in the march for President Trump's tax returns in downtown Denver on Saturday, April 15th.

On Saturday April 15, over 150 marches took place in every state across the country to demand President Trump release his tax returns to the American public. Colorado Common Cause was proud to march with an estimated 7,000 Coloradans in downtown Denver.

In his speech at the Tax Day rally, Colorado Common Cause board member Karl Chwe highlighted the need for transparency at all levels of government: “we must ensure that voters have the information necessary to make informed decisions and foster the public’s faith and confidence in our leaders. Transparency fosters trust, and trust is necessary for a free and fair nation.”
