Expanding Access

Colorado Common Cause works to expand access to the ballot for eligible voters in Colorado. In 2013, we helped secure passage of an election reform law that gives Colorado one of the most progressive election systems in the country. The Colorado Voter Access and Modernized Election Act (COVAME) gives voters more opportunities to register to vote, and more choices for casting a ballot, whether by mail or in-person. It is a tremendous step forward in ensuring Colorado's elections are free, fair and accessible for all eligible citizens.
