Dee Durham is the Campaign Director for Common Cause Delaware. Dee first joined Common Cause in the First State in February 2012 and focuses on corporate accountability, the state legislative agenda, fundraising, and board management.
Dee served from 2002 through 2012 as Executive Director of S.A.V.E., a land use and conservation planning advocacy non-profit organization based in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining S.A.V.E., Dee served for more than eight years as Executive Director of the statewide organization Preservation Delaware, Inc. She obtained experience in the nonprofit sector through her work with the Junior League of Wilmington including a term as President, and more recently assisting in leading a successful capital campaign for the League’s historic headquarters. She currently serves on the board of Old Brandywine Village. Dee served on Governor-Elect Jack Markell’s infrastructure transition team as well as former Governor Ruth Ann Minner’s Livable Delaware Task Force. She has served on the boards of the Friends of Brandywine Creek State Park, Friends of Auburn Heights Preserve, Wilmington Friends School, the Friends of Brandywine Parks, and Preservation Action. Dee was a co-founder and board member of Greater Brandywine Village Revitalization, Inc. She is a member and serves on several committees at the Wilmington Monthly Meeting of Friends. She obtained a B.A. in biology from Swarthmore College. Ms. Durham is a member of the national Association of Fundraising Professionals and obtained recognition as a Certified Fundraising Professional (CFRE).
